Katy X was born in August 3rd 1998 at Nellmapius, Gauteng, South Africa.
Katy grew up in
Nellmapius, a Township next to Mamelodi.
Katy attended School at Nellmapius Primary School in the year 2005 and moved to Nellmapius Secondary School in the year 2012 and that’s where she was introduced to the Hip-Hop Culture.
Katy started rapping in the ninth grade, she was 15 by that time.
